D-WAR (declare war against rape) short course

Sean and Paige instructing a D-WAR (declare war against rape) short course at Todd Group HQ yesterday evening.

Sean and Paige are qualified D-WAR course instructors at Todd Group HQ.

They are also highly trained, tested and qualified Todd Systems CQC/MSD (Close Quarters Combat and Todd Systems Military Self-Defence) proponents and instructors.

They are based out of Todd Group HQ and have overseas training and instructing experience.

The Todd Group are NZ’s oldest and only training providers of our European military self-defence and CQC with a 92-year history in our tradecraft.

The Todd Systems are not traditional fighting arts or combat sports orientated. They are specialist threat neutralisation military combative practices that provide best chance threat neutralisation outcomes for the under-dog when under extreme threat.

The D-WAR course is 4 hours duration and includes anti-sexual violence tactics to minimise the likelihood of becoming a victim of sexual violence.

These tactics include undertaking threat assessments to identify risks in one’s personal safety and security and then taking measures to strengthen one’s personal safety and security plan.

The physical counter actions are based on the Todd Systems European military CQC and military self-defence principles, tactics and skills.

Considerable content has been developed by the Todd Group Master-Chief instructor specifically for providing the simplest most effective means of threat neutralisation that requires the least physicality as all skills are based on the best of proven military dirty tricks brigade practices.

This is most important as targeted victims of serious sexual violence predominantly are underdogs.

There are no gender division’s weight and age categories considerations applicable to countering predatory sexual violence and as such skills must provide quick quiet deliberate safe and proven as humanly possible man stopper capabilities against the over dog by the underdog.

This is exactly what military CQC/MSC specifically developed or modified best of battle proven methods of man stopping skills provide.

Attendees also learn the most important factors of being able to combat or counter over- dogs, that being mental toughness enhancement tactics and skills from the Todd Group Brain to Boot mil CQC/MSD package.

The D-WAR course has been described by so many female folk over the years as being nothing like they imagined it would be and nothing like civilian self-defence courses they have undertaken previously.

The course comes with an available manual as an aide memoire for post course practice.

Female attendees enjoy being able to bring along their male training partners in the capacity of the training attacker and see that the skills work against bigger stronger males.

Sean and Paige can conduct courses by arrangement with Todd Group HQ. [email protected]
