Military CQC/MSD Joining and Todd Group membership musts

Don't be a butt licker

Mil CQC/MSD training and testing has to be as terminally deliberate as it gets to defeat formidable foes and as such the training modus operandi must be based on the same hard core fact of the matter mentality and trade craft practices.

Recruiting must identify individuals that show desirable attributes and reject those that don’t meet course joining requirements.

Our experienced Master- Instructors are well versed in identifying suitable course joining exponents and declining applications from those that are not.

There are some colourful descriptions of individual’s character traits and flaws including the hand symbol at the head of this blog for a boot or butt licker depicting the legs of a butt licker extending from a superiors butthole.

Military CQC is black and white with recruiting fitting individuals and identifying character traits in applicants and exponents.

The exponent recruiting demeanour and attitude we are looking for is that of the quietly confident type.

The fact of the matter is fitting applicants apply because they want and need the skills we provide.

They have done their research and understand what is required and what European military close quarters combat and military self-defence training is all about.

These types are practical realists that know there are no easy soft options or mystical magical ways to defeat a formidable foe and they know military CQC dirty tricks brigade battle proven tactics and skills provide the best chances of formidable threat neutralisation.

The lads and lasses that understand how to conduct themselves properly are generally very quiet types that give little away.

Applicants that give their reason for joining as wanting to become a better person do not understand the objectives of CQC/MSD.

You don’t join the dirty tricks brigade other than to gain combative and self-defence competency confidence and capability.

Then you get the occasional applicant with a warry email addresses or references to mil CQC content without CQC qualification and this rings alarm bells.

Those that go to great lengths to convince us of their long-term training expertise and high-grade status on their basic entry-level exponent application/questionnaire answers is often an indicator of a lack of confidence in their combative/self-protection capabilities. Braggarts.

We get entry-level applicants that include information telling us what military CQC and MSD is all about and this is prior to having undertaken a single lesson. Braggarts.

There are other types that are name droppers or over complimentary and condescending. Boot Lickers.

There is no place for Egotistical types or those with bad tempers or bullying tendencies.

All our rank-and-file are expected to be reliable, honest, selfless, and upfront.

Excuses for failing to follow instructions take orders and achieve objectives are seen as sign of a lack of commitment.

If the application process is not blatantly obvious in regard to what is expected of an exponent, the training regime will be and the testing regime will be even more revealing.

New entry-level exponents male and female come in all physical sizes from wide ranging backgrounds and of vast professions and all must be humble types that understand humility and prove themselves by their actions.

Egotistical or arrogant types have no place in CQC ranks.

The application process must be strict and to the point because of the nature of the provided training that is disparate from civilian arts self-defence.

Every aspect of the application process and the training and testing regimes is an identifier of individuals strengths and every weakness.

Often those that talk themselves up the most are found out as there is nowhere to hide at close quarters.

Informed applicants have done their homework and usually apply as an individual not because they are jointly applying with friends.

No matter of rank or status all exponents proponents and instructors must understand and accept that being an exponent proponent or an instructor is a privilege not a given right that will be revoked if the required attitude good character and exemplary code of conduct is not maintained.

The process from application through course/Group joining combined with the training and testing regimes are all processes to identify train test and prove individuals that meet stringent CQC training conditions.

The attrition rate is high and only a fraction of 1 percent will make it from a basic entry level exponent to a specialist life-long proponent and that’s just as it should be.
