Majority procrastinators, minority proponents

I look at the copious amount of emails and signups on my Todd Group general email list and notice that by majority most never commit to accepting the combative challenge of undertaking an intensive course of instruction.

I understand that many are interested in the subject in a theory capacity only, but others claim practical capability, but  do not have the commitment or resolve to undertake such training and proving themselves.

Then there are those that are not physically capable of undertaking such training and that is  perfectly  understandable and acceptable.

It is a good thing that so many people are interested in military self defence and military close quarters combat but with  so many  being physically capable of undertaking combative training but choosing not to, it is a depiction of the masses subject matter interest over subject matter participation.

I hear so many excuses why individuals cannot commit to training or follow-through on their initial enquiry or application.

The reality is by majority it is the thought of signing up fronting up, and giving it one’s best that deters many.

Especially those that are already claiming expertise or instructor status, there is always the reality they will be identified for their capabilities or lack of.

If the information joining instructions post course reports deter individuals from attending then this is a good thing as the most important requirement of undertaking CQC training is mental toughness inner resolve and intestinal fortitude.
