Thailand Todd Group International Hub Country Military CQC Training

The Late Highly Respected Cpt Ammo and Tank.

Civi and Mil pers CQC pics Thailand in the last 20 years.

The Todd Group Thailand training connection began in 1991 when I first visited Thailand to undertake my military elite forces combative instructor qualification course.

In the last 25 years, the Todd Group have conducted or instructed on other training providers courses and now conduct multiple standalone courses a year including CPP, CQC, MSD, and DT courses of instruction.

The establishment of the Todd Group’s international hub country in Thailand was to provide training for the military and serious civilian European military CQC/MSD exponents, proponents and instructors.

The Todd Group being a small specialist military elite combative training provision organisation with the longest history as a specialist private training provider in the field of European military unarmed combat and military self- defence training provision enables us to export small group specialist courses not only to Thailand but globally.

Over 91 years since the Todd Group was established by our founder the late Harry Baldock we have trained tens of thousands of military personnel, police, close personal protection specialists and civilians in our specialist skill sets.

The Todd Group headquarters in New Zealand is a long way from the countries of many of the serious enthusiasts of European military CQC that attend our courses conducted in Thailand.

While we do provide corporate training in Thailand by request and referral our primary role is conducting intensive courses of CQC and MSD training for combined military groups and serious approved civilian exponents and proponents.

Setting and maintaining the highest possible standards starting with course joining requirements and on course joining acceptance providing the most current and proven mil CQC/MSD training leading up to challenging CQC/MSD testing phases attracts the practical realist looking for the type of training we provide.

Training is a privilege not a given right and all applicants must meet stringent joining conditions and abide by combative codes of conduct contracts.

We decline a considerable number of applicants that do not meet our codes and conditions.

Any exponent on course that does not abide by our combative code of conduct conditions will be binned and declined acceptance on any future courses they may apply for.

This includes not being permitted to train at any Todd Group national or international depot.

To provide current military elite CQC/MSD training to civilians comes with a major responsibility and requirements to ensure exponents are responsible committed individuals of integrity and those that are found not to be must be binned immediately.

The type of exponents we are looking for accept the challenges and set the highest possible personal standards for themselves and as such do not want to train with weak minded or irresponsible types. We do not want to recruit anyone that is not fully committed responsible and of high integrity.

Over the past 25 years of training provision in Thailand we have attracted some top exponent’s from all over the world and most return on courses after accepting the challenge of CQC/MSD phase testing and achieving promotion.

International exponent’s applications and vetting are processed by Todd Group HQ while Thai citizen’s applications are processed by our Thailand courses coordinator.

Having a full-time Todd Group Thailand personal assistant and courses coordinator in Thailand has made logistics and courses resourcing and conducting effortless for the training team.

The Todd Group does not want to attract the masses just the fraction of 1% of operators, enthusiasts and instructors that know what is real when it comes to military CQC/MSD and won’t settle for anything less.

We could conduct courses week in week out as we get constant requests and referrals to conduct more courses especially in Thailand.

We operate at capacity schedules with our training team fully committed and as such have limited slots available to meet the demand.

Our Thailand courses include (MSD) military self -defence, military (CQC) Close Quarters Combat, armed and unarmed combat, law enforcement (DT) defensive tactics, crowd control and specialist (CPP) close personal protection courses of instruction.

Recently we have introduced a unique and special experience in the form of a specialist close personal protection training course that is conducted jointly in New Zealand at Camp Todd/Todd Group HQ in New Zealand and in Thailand.

This course has an international long haul international flight training exercise component that provides a realistic training experience as well as the benefits of undergoing training at both Todd Group HQ in New Zealand and in our international hub country of Thailand.

Our CQC courses include land and amphib training in Thailand at Royal Thai Military Bases.

European mil CQC is very different to traditional fighting arts and combat sports and it is the mil combative differences that attract foreigners to Thailand on our courses.

Much state they do not want to undertake traditional fighting arts styles but want to learn allies military systems developed to combat and counter other styles.

The Thai military exponents on courses find European mil CQC/MSD provides them with new capabilities that fit with their roles and needs.

They especially like how the European mil CQC dirty and deadly tactics and skills provide over kill capabilities even against much bigger aggressors.

The Todd Group has over a 90 year commitment as mil CQC/MSD tradecraft training providers including 25 years CQC involvement in Thailand.

Military CQC/MSD hi level instructor qualifications and long term military instructing service have made our Thailand connection possible by referral and mutual respect.

In country we have connections with some leading allies that support endorse and recommend our mil CQC/MSD training provision.

Maintaining strict protocols including stringent course joining conditions and delivering the most current military instructed combative training programs is what our people seek and what makes our training provision unique.

We keep our courses to small groups and provide Todd training systems unavailable elsewhere conducted very similar to our military courses by military Master level CQC/MSD instructors.

Not just anyone can course join and those that do must train the military CQC way making our intensive courses a unique and challenging experience.

Our model is more military than business and this appeals to serious CQC enthusiasts.

They get their training from the mil CQC tradecraft source that also develops and provides the training resources.

The courses in Thailand roll over every year and change to meet the roles and needs of the services and individuals we train.

Mil CQC/MSD being progressive mil tradecrafts ensure our understudies are training in the most current and proven tactics and skills developed by Todd Group HQ.

Thailand fits well with our international training provision logistically and as standalone specialist mil CQC/MSD training provider we can deliver highest level small group courses in Thailand and will continue to do indefinitely.
