From the Rest Come the CQC Best
The final intensive course of instruction scheduled for Todd Group HQ/Camp Todd for 2021 was completed Sunday December 5th.
Every scheduled course was completed in 2021, which meant considerable additional scheduling and in some cases rescheduling as well as re-facilitating some courses.
The most important thing is we completed all our HQ/Camp Todd and exported courses that were scheduled for 2021.
This final course being a restricted access course only was made up of Phase 3 Specialist Proponents as well as Senior and Master-Instructors.
The course included not only specialist armed and unarmed combat and military elite self-defence tactics and skills training but also training in tactics and skills development.
Canine threat neutralisation was included on the program that focused on both canine threats against oneself and the neutralisation of canine threats against others.
Conducting this course as a stand-alone specialist course provided maximum training hours and skills repetitions opposed to our often combined basic, advanced and specialist courses of instruction being conducted simultaneously.
Specialist courses require considerable tradecraft training equipment and facilities as well as fitting training environments that cannot be found in an indoors studio or gym environment.
Visiting and HQ proponents and instructors were committed to maintaining a current status and learning the most current primary skills.
From our mil elite self-defence through to our most current primary armed and unarmed combat tactics and skills training proponents and instructors trained diligently with commitment to maintaining a current status and being armed with the most current newly adopted primary capabilities.
These top lads understand the advantages of progressive evolution in tactics and skills knowing well that the most current proven primary practices arm them with superior capabilities to those that have not been privy to such specialist training.
For Phase 3 Specialist Proponents and Instructors maintaining the most current status in Phase 1 Basic and Phase 2 Advanced packages is most important especially for being involved with instructing upcoming courses of instruction.
The most current primary tradecraft practices from Phase 1 Basic and Phase 2 Advanced opened the training for the weekend course of instruction.
Adopted and approved new skills provide superior capabilities and as such are of major interest to dedicated and committed proponents and instructors and this includes from all phases of training.
CQC lifers have wide ranging and vast knowledge and decades of training and instructing hours completed making them respected group members that lead by example.
For them to learn one or two new primary practices that provide superior capabilities is as it was described on the weekend course is “Gold”.
The attendees are keen to get back on our overseas courses circuit in 2022 and were submitting their expressions of interest.
We have some new countries under consideration to add to our current exported courses circuits, which will provide new opportunities and experiences for our most committed and dedicated proponents and instructors.
We are also working on multi-media presentation material for our 100 years celebrations in 2027 that all our dedicated senior members will be involved with.
The senior members in attendance truly understand the privilege of their membership status and being privy to our most specialist training.
They are of high integrity understand loyalty with honour and their high level controlled aggression and skills accuracy make possible safest training in the most specialist threat neutralisation means and methods.
Orders and instructions are minimal as these specialists know their trade-craft training through decades of participation at the highest level.
The most important aspect of completing this final course of instruction was the maintaining of training provision momentum and the continued recruiting of new exponents throughout 2021.
We are now in the final weeks of training provision at Todd Group HQ and will be working on projects and advanced training provision work over the holiday period.
