The chin jab palm heel strike at close quarters and especially at bodily contact range with the enemy, when the enemy is seized and contained increases the chances of threat neutralisation by considerable, while minimising the risk of cuts fractures and breaks.

Clench fist strikes with brass knuckles or sap gloves are a very different matter than bare fists strikes and can produce effective threat neutralisation with high level hand protection. The term chin jab is probably not the best descriptive title. The chin jab is an upward palm heel strike that is more of a combination of velocity and leverage power striking over jabbing.

It does not come without risks of its own in relation to wrist sprains if the skill is not correctly executed.

There is a higher likelihood of wrist injuries practising on soft foam filled targets than in a CQC actions on where the durable heel of the palm is impacting with the chin/jaw and snapping the head back.

The two most current primary military methods are the flat hand and clenched fist palm heel strikes for enemy takeout’s and for CQC battle field actions on respectively.

There are palm heel entry strikes to injure incapacitate overwhelm disorientated the enemy prior to employing finishing skills when the enemy is at ones mercy.

There are also palm heel strikes employed as finishing strikes in unarmed offensive assault combinations when the enemy is most vulnerable.

The palm heel strikes are very effective means when the enemy has been incapacitated seized and secured and cannot clear the kill zone.

Just like skills used by pest destruction to quietly and discreetly dispatch rabbits by means of a contained forceful levered chin jab the modus operandi is similar and the outcome equally deadly in close quarters combat actions on encounters.

The type of force is a combination of velocity and high-power leverage.

Life or death military close quarters combat is not about taking the enemy on but is about taking them out and by using palm heel strikes to cause brain damage and spinal cord destruction the chances of threat neutralisation are high.

Practical smarts mental toughness skills competency and confidence enhance objective achievement outcomes.

When a combatant knows that a skill provides high level threat destructive capabilities and minimises risks of self-injury, they will use it and use it with high level controlled aggressive output.

If you asked someone to uppercut a hard surface with their bare knuckles they would be rightfully unwilling to do so, however, using the palm heel strike the likelihood of injury can be considerably lessened.

Understanding compressed hand configurations contact impact angles and alignment setups and contingencies specific to the skill and objective achievement requirements are all combined in our military individual and combination skills employments and provide the combatant with high level safety and increased chances of threat neutralisation.

Covert chin jab executions from outside or beneath the enemy’s vision as well as using deceptions distractions and dirty tricks increase the likelihood of threat neutralisation.

Seizing and securing the nape of the neck or when the back of the head is against a hard surface or protrusion combined with chin jabbing increases threat destructive capabilities and is a life-threatening terminal means of threat neutralisation.

Just like stamp kicking chin jabbing does not require high level coordination or extreme physicality but does generate high level destructive capabilities.

Visualise what this would do to you if it was by means of a highly committed chin-jab.

The mandible contact impact, the trauma to the brain inside the cranium and the destruction of the spinal cord all life threatening injuries.

You only need to consider deaths in car accidents from cervical injuries to understand the effects of the head violently snapping back and the fatal outcomes as a result.

Fatal breaking point impact is easily achieved by means of deadly chin jab employments.

Think about this skill being executed at point blank body contact range while being seized and secured by the webbing and chin jabbed with high level controlled aggressive force velocity in multiple repetitions and you will understand why palm heel strike chin jabs are deadly.

This has been a brief insight into mil CQC upward palm heel strikes.
